So, I had a dream the other night that greatly inspired me. And I don't really want to forget it while I'm here in Atlanta and end up not putting this down onto canvas. Because I feel like this concept might actually work and I like the idea. This is mostly just for myself to go back over.
Here's the main gist of my dream.
I was in some kind of desert area, with an intense navy blue sky. As if the Atlantic was above me. The ground was excruciatingly dry, but the air was filled with moisture. There was a single dirt path that went on for seemingly forever. Around the path was nothing, just flat, dry, earth. Some sort of limbo.
I began to walk the path in the direction of the sun for what seemed to be days. Finally, I came across a figure in the distance. It was a girl. When I reached the girl, we spoke but I didn't understand. I embraced her and we kissed. We then continued to walk, hand in hand, down the path. Things began to take on a muddy green hue and we at last reached a very dusty house. There was a party, except it was silent. There were people everywhere, only, it was empty. There was fire and war and the house burned, but it remained and there was nothing. It defied everything tangible and the only thing that felt actually sound was the floor on which I stood.
The girl, she left me to join in with the party guests and the riot. She began to surround and engulf the place. She became an omnipresent force that drove me out of the house, and from that realm into some other parallel universe. Then, everything started over. I saw myself flying through the endless path for forever, through infinity. I broke the plane and started from the absolute beginning.
It was some kind of desert area, with an intense navy blue sky. As if the Atlantic was above me. The ground was excruciatingly dry, but the air was filled with moisture. There was a single dirt path that went on for seemingly forever. Around the path was nothing, just flat, dry, earth. Some sort of limbo.
Once more, I began to walk. But this time I was walking in the opposite direction of the sun. After a very long time I came across a figure whom was not really there. I embraced her and we kissed. Across separate planes of reality, we became one with each other.
Then everything faded and I awoke.

Other news:
I still have more pieces completed. Just not photographed. So, when I get back to Athens on Sunday(my birthday!), I'll try and get to that.
